Bonaccorsi Family Pinot Noir Sta. Rita Hills 2018
Medium-full, dark ruby red, with a slight orange tint at the rim. Spicy, woodsy nose; showing some warmth now. Aromas of black pepper roasted strawberries, orange peel, and wilting roses. Full and broad-shouldered in the mouth; firm, and warm again down the throat. Reminds me of all kinds of things: strawberry crisp, sticky toffee pudding, with hints of baked apple dessert, lavender, tar, orange Pekoe tea. Structured, savory, autumnal notes in the finish.
